I'm very happy to hear that the images felt vivid and effective. I've long felt that descriptive language was one of my weaknesses, and in this story, I tried some particular techniques that I worked on this past year. I also hoped that the three men coming to find her in her misery—and explicitly expressing love and forgiveness—would feel very powerful, so thank you for mentioning that.
