I really liked this, because it was in the immediate aftermath of the show. Like you I really feel that although Veronica was pretty unbearable at times in the show, that she was deeply traumatised and this accounts for a lot of her behaviour. I wonder if S3's finale would have been her moment of truth, in terms of recognising some of her own faults? She really had messed up very badly. I like to think it might have made her re evaulate things, and the role that those around her played.
