Veronica was truly brutal to Logan in the finale, up until that last moment when their eyes met. I think that once she saw the outcome of her actions she would have regretted the way she spoke to him. Of course she had no way of knowing exactly what the outcome would be when she started pulling on the thread that led to discovering the creator of the video; however, a lot of what she did was truly reckless and she was old enough and experienced enough that she should have hesitated at certain points. And so I could imagine her berating herself badly.
I prefer to think of her as flailing in season 3 rather than callous and immature, and it seems like you might agree with me.
