Hmm, I am interested in the Jake Kane theory. I definitely had not thought of it. I was always fascinated by the Jake/Veronica's mom relationship - I just didn't get it at all, really. But I always thought Jake was an interesting character and rather missed the Kanes after they disappeared in S2.
