NOTE: I recently reformatted this story for Dreamwidth, taking advantage of the longer chapter lengths available on this platform. In addition, I set the version imported from Livejournal to private, in order to conceal the comments that were originally made on LJ because some commenters felt it was a violation for me to display their comments on a site other than the one where they originally appeared.
