I know what you mean!! I love writing twisty plots but I have to admit: I sometimes read other people's stories where they're just snarking at each other, and I sigh to myself, wishing I had gone there. I do think if they're going to make it for the long run, some of the issues I'm having them suffer through have to be worked out. And I hope the payoff will be worth it.
