So I don't have a livejournal, so I'm only anonymous, but I LOVE your writing and fics. I spent a nice rainy Saturday reading YOLD II, and last weekend reading YOLD I. I think you have captured the characters very well, and it is nice to see growth from both Veronica and Logan (and everyone else - hopefully Dick will continue to mature). I am very much looking forward to the next update.
While I am more of a plot nerd, like one of your reviewers said, the sex scenes are very well done (though I do skim over them a bit http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/talk/sm02_wink.gif ) I think you have developed the mystery very well, and have great character development. I love that Leo isn't as squeaky clean as he seems - I had never thought of him as "dirty" and never interpreted that scene the way you did - but I see your interpretation as plausible, and it doesn't really make sense that Leo would sell *both* tapes. I love the relationship between Logan and Keith and the feeling of "home" that is developing for him - poor guy he never really had a good home environment.
I don't exactly understand all the Duncan hate either - he's not a bad guy - just a little boring. Probably if this was real life, he'd be the better one for you (sorta like Riley for Buffy), but as far as excitement and plot and chemistry, Logan and Veronica are best. I think some of this comes from the fantasy that we women have that we can "change" our men. It doesn't really work that way. But anyway, your story is fantastic - I'm sorry I have to leave an anonymous review. Great Job - and I'm looking forward to the update.
Wow - I love this fic
