poniesforall has a theory that Chris Lowell was the unknown voice in the storage area in 3.20 'The Bitch Is Back'. (She also has a totally whacked-out conspiracy theory, involving Piz being recruited to get evidence — the sex tape — on Veronica. You'll have to ask her for the deets. It's too twisty for me...seriously. She's been warped by having to beta for me, I'm sorry to say.)

I present some evidence for your consideration. You'll have to get the sound files (short mp3's) from the upload site (they'll open in a new window). While you are waiting for the files (they're teeny-sized, btw), you can admire Percy Daggs III.

I'm still too distracted by shirtless Wallace, sorry. That guy had some serious shoulders, and it's terribly unfortunate he wasn't shirtless more often.

But if you like this theory, check out the fic Redemption (http://community.livejournal.com/vm_santa/187046.html) by larah33--it takes place after seasons 3, and she describes the Piz situation at the beginning of the story (full disclosure--it was my vm_santa gift!). I thought the idea was crack at first, but it sort of makes sense in a weird way.

I'm on your side, LOL. Piz was too nice to actually be nice. I read a fic where he orchestrated the whole video thing, and totally bought it. Then I read another where he killed Veronica and Logan...and totally was skeeved out, but bought that too.

We'll never know, but we can make our own fanon.

What, did Piz kill them with his puppy-dog eyes?? Or maybe he bought Veronica a kitten and cross-stitched her a pillow that said My Heart Belongs to You and she threw herself off the Coronado? And of course Logan leaped right after. Or perhaps Veronica went into a diabetic coma from holding hands and snuggling.

Have we learned nothing from "If the cuddling was the best part..."?

Man, now I wish I could remember better and find it...I think I remember that originally, it was thought to be a murder/suicide (That Logan had killed Veronica and then himself) but there was a bloody handprint on her that helped police figure out that he'd tried to help her? Or vice versa?

It was awesome, but way dark.

That story was f-ed up. I was totally creeped out, but I kept reading and I didn't know why.

Yeah. Piz was totally psychotic and got away with the murders for a couple of years until Mr. Mars tracked him down and murdered him. It was actually well written and I can totally see Chris Lowell playing that type of role.

That's different than the one I read--in the one I read, he got away with it. That means there are at least *two* fics out there in which Piz becomes an insane killer. The Interwebs are a strange place.

I think it may be the same one (he killed in the Logan's Grand suite). It may have been in the epilogue (if it was the same story) where Keith killed him. I think the fangirls demanded that the author punish Piz for him killing LoVe. (But I may just be demented.)

This isn't the fic I read before, so there most definitely are two cracktastic Piz-as-killer stories. The one I read was much shorter, and it was mostly made up of the crazy thoughts in Piz's head. IIRC, it only featured Piz, Veronica, and Logan, and it took place after she broke up with him and got back together with Logan. He killed Logan in the suite, and then V comes home to find him dead, then he kills her too and makes it look like Logan did it.

I don't have time to dig it up though.

Well, your wacky conspiracy theory gave people something to chat about for a while, which is pretty cool. (What exactly does it say about me, that my flist always hijacks my posts?)

Do you think anything actually bothered to listen to my sound files that I so carefully made? I wish I knew how to embed them in the post, but I was too lazy to search the interwebz for hours. I'm sure there's a way. And lj FAQ was useless, as usual.

Well, the sound bytes didn't work for me: I couldn't get the volume high enough to hear anything. That just may be a problem MAC/PC problem though. But who cares? I know it was Piz so your little sound files were just for your amusement.

I realize this poll is 4+ years old but, I just watched this episode and thought the same thing. I'm not sure why, after multiple previous viewings, it jumped out at me that it was Piz during parts of that interrogation. I had a similar conspiracy theory and still think if the show had continued we would have seen Piz as the douche he was meant to be.
